Over the summer, we have discovered Kory’s love of baseball. I can not describe his fascination with the sport. He just loves it! There are not many 2 year olds that will sit through most of the baseball game-but Kory will. It all started with us going to one of Justin’s baseball games. Kory was sooo good that we decided to try out going to one of the Colt games. After that, we had to go to Walmart and buy him a t-ball set. He would get so mad when trying to put his bicycle helmet on his face, like the hindcatcher. He would scream and cry when it was obviously not right. So, good ole Mas went to Academy and found a mask that fit 5 year olds. It is still a little to big-but just fine for Kory! He even loves to watch it on tv. Stop Dada’s Baseball-wait wait wait he exclaims!!!
These pictures were from the last Colt’s game of the season! You can tell that Kory had a great time! Now- we are on to football. He made me watch that on tv last night!!! Where did this love of sports come from????

Latest Injury!!! Sick as a Dog!! Ha Ha Ha!
This is a picture of the latest injury on the Gully Farm! Jesse fell out of a tractor riding with my Uncle Roy. Then we did not realize that she was as sick as she was and one morning when I was leaving for work Jesse was sleeping under my car. She was hurt so bad that she did not want to get up and I accidentally ran over her. You can see her leg in a cast and then the other one is bandaged up from the IV that the vet put in her. She not only had a couple of broken places in her leg she was fighting an infection. She is doing much better though!!!

Sea World-3
By our third trip, Kory and I were old pros at this Sea World business. He knew his way around the hotel and was more confident, which led to a little more 2 year old bull-headedness! But, still overall he was very well-behaved! We did a little more at the hotel this trip, then the past ones. Our room which was really great, even had a balcony. Friday night, we went swimming, ate supper at the hotel and roasted marshmallows. We met a super-nice family from Lake Charles, LA and Kory got to play with their kiddos! He had a great time!!!
The next morning we packed up and went to Sea World-man was it crowded!!!! More people than I have seen at any of our previous trips. Probably if you took the people and combined them from our first and second trip you would get the amount of people that was at Sea World on that Saturday in July! Keith and I kept our eyes on Kory at all times!!! Sea World will put a wrist band on your child with your name and phone number in case they get separated from you…You don’t think that can happen, but Keith and I saw a little boy who was lost. It was very sad and we vowed that we were going to do whatever it took, not to let that happen to Kory. So, I would encourage you to take that extra step to protect your babies. So, being that this was our third trip, we by-passed a lot of the shows and went straight to the stuff Kory wanted to do. That consisted of Shamu, Shamu and more Shamu. No just kidding. We did of course go see Shamu again and went to the Shamu Beach Party! But, there were so many people, it really made it less fun. We let Kory ride a few rides that he did not get to last time and then made a b-line for the waterpark. Man are we glad we did that. Most of the waterpark, we had not seen yet, so this was a new experience for all of us. Kory had a great time swimming! Keith and I had a better time, because now we had cooled off, which made everything more enjoyable! By the time we finished at the water park, Kory was plum wore out! We left about 3:00 to go back to the main park and the line was OUTRAGEGOUS!!!! Totally Crazy to get in to the waterpark entrance!!! Kory fell asleep, Keith and I had a snack, watched the Ski Show and walked around enjoyably for a little while. When Kory woke up, it was so crowed and hot that we decided to go back to the hotel for more swimming, playing with other kiddos, eating supper, roasting marshmallows, getting balloon animals, face painted and best of all- watching this HUGE movie screen with kid movies playing! The next morning we ate breakfast at the hotel, packed our stuff up and headed home!!
Hopefully this won’t be our final trip for the summer-at least one or two more!!!

Sea World-2
Our second trip consisted of Mas, Popos, Kory and I all going to San Antonio. It was a shorter trip, but we really enjoyed it just as much. My mom, did not get much sleep, because of my dad snoring, so I don’t think she had as much fun as the rest of us…But Kory again really loved it! We left early Sat. July 7 and headed for San Marcus for some shopping. Kory was really good…except one time and I will give you 2 guesses as the cause of the trantrum-1) Fan’s….good guess but try again! 2) You got it-Water! The little booger wanted to get in and swim!!! I could not convince him otherwise. But, other than that he was an awesome shopper!!!! We then headed back into San Antonio, with a brief stop in Gruene to show mom and dad Gruene Hall, to Babys R Us and Bass Pro Shop. It was sprinkling on us as we left there and headed for the hotel. Of course, it was almost supper time, but Kory had to go for a swim. Since, the vacation after all was for him, we let him go!!! Then we went to Chilies for supper.
The next Day, Sunday, we packed up our stuff and headed for Sea World. Kory was so excited! First thing…we went and saw Shamu!!! Kory and I had great seats, so that was really neat!!! Popos took Kory to see the alligators and feed the fish. We then walked over to Shaumu’s Beach Party. That was awesome!!! Kory enjoyed this so much…Meanwhile us adults were sweating away!! He just danced and danced and was not a bit afraid of those costumes!
Being a Sunday, the crowds were less than normal, which worked out perfect for us! Then we let Kory swim a little while, ride some rides and were pooped out by 3:00 when we headed home!

Yeah-Sea World 1
It seems like the summer has flown by! I really wanted to take Kory somewhere super-fun for vacation. We thought that we would start our traveling out with a Summer of Sea World and work our way up! So, lets see Kory at 2 – Sea World, Kory at 3- Beaches Sesame St. Resort, Kory at 4-Disney World, Kory at 5- Atlantis, Bahamas (and totally swimming with the Dolphins), Kory at 6- San Diego or New York-or what the heck, maybe both! The way this is going, I think Keith is going to have to get a second or third job to pay for all this traveling! But, if you ask me it will be totally worth it, especially if it makes Kory happy!
So, our Sea World Trips…we got Season Passes and decided to try and go whenever possible. The first trip was May 11-14. My parents, Neal, Danielle, Anita, David Wayne and Keith all came with Kory and I. Boy did we have fun!!! You never really think a 2-year old gets much out of a vacation, but Kory absolutely LOVED it! I think what made the trip so memorable was that he had his Mas and Popos with him. We also went to “Dine with Shamu” and Kory got an up-close look at Shaumu and where they lived…He also Loved the cookies they served. Warning: don’t go to Dine with Shamu for the food…only the atmosphere! The menu is tailored for young children, not adults. That to me…is what is important anyways.
Kory really enjoyed the hotel we stayed at! It was really neat. The swimming pool had a beach entrance made just for little toddlers! Kory was a little hesitant about the little waterfalls and sometimes he would get stuck and need me to come help him, so that he would not have to go underwater…Man has that changed since the first time we went to Sea World. He is now flinging, yes FLINGING himself into the water and loves sitting under the waterfalls!3

Cotton Fields
This summer has been so exciting for our family. Kory is just getting big enough to really understand what is happening and just talk and talk and talk!! Now if only we can start understanding him...things would be wonderful!! Keith is so excited about his cotton! With all the rain it really does look good. Kory is excited about it also and anytime we pass by cotton fields...my cotton, my cotton, dada's cotton, popo's cotton. It really is cute! Kory also LOVES checking the cotton with Keith..Keith usually takes him with him and boy does Kory enjoy it! I snapped these pictures the other evening of them checking the cotton fields in front of our house. If you are wondering, Kory was playing in the water..thats why he has no clothes on!!!
