These pictures are from the lake trip to Amisted with Keith's family. We rented a house boat and stayed on the water. Unfortunately, the weather was very cool, so not much swimming took place. We did get out on the boat a couple of times! Kory had lots of fun!
These pictures are from Kory's first day of KDO at Sierra Vista in the 2 year old class. He was so excited to be going! Look at those little eyes shining!!! I think he really missed all of his friends and he absolutely loves it there!!! His teacher is wonderful also. If you ask Kory who is his best friend, Ms. Kim is probably one of the answers you will get! Sorry about the quality of the pictures. For some reason they did not turn out very good!!!
This last week has been horrible for our family. It seems as though everyone was sick with different things!!! It all started the Friday before Cotton Fest…David Wayne came down with Mouth, hand and Foot which ended up being just in his mouth, thankfully! Kory spent the weekend with Susie so we thought we were all clear, until Sunday night…here we go!! Fever, gagging, sore throat. Then on Monday, little sores all over his throat which by Tuesday had turned into thick blisters. He was in lots of pain-could not even eat M&M’s!!! Now that means he is SICK!!! I stayed home with him on Monday and Tuesday. Keith stayed with him on Wednesday and finally Thursday he was able to go to Anita’s and stayed with Tiffany. By Friday he was all better…but guess what happened to good ole mom!!! I was sick as a dog! Luckily it did not last long and by Friday night I was feeling much better. I am still left with a sore throat, but at least that is manageable. And I have not even mentioned my dad…he has the shingles!!! That it seems is one of the worst things ever to have! He is doing much better though, thankfully. We were planning a trip to Austin today if not!
I will try and post some new pics. this week and I also found this great website that talks all about kiddos and ways to handle different situations and the emotional health of your children. The tabs on the side of the page also have more information located within them and they are just wonderful! Really..step by step guide to helping you with misbehavior and age appropriate!!! That is one of the best things!!! I see things all the time that are never going to work with kids because of age appropriateness!!!! Check it out…I think you all will like it!!!
