Christmas Pictures from Sears

Now this was an adventure. Again flying solo, I took the kids to Sears to get there pictures made. Anyone who goes to have pictures made a Sears, with small children know that this is not a fun experience! But, overall things went really good and here are some pictures from that not-so-fun day!

Snow Day! Snow Day!

Who Hoo! Kory was SOOO excited! It snowed! He was up at 6:15 that morning-dressed and ready to go out and play. An hour later, I had to DRAG him inside to eat breakfast. At 9:30-we were off to school-and Kory had a FULL morning of playing in the snow. I think the teachers at Ambleside were just as excited as the kids to play in the snow. They even went across the street to the park and made several snowmen and had a snowball fight. Here are some pictures. This was actually the most snow we have had in several years..and Kenedee's first time to see it. You can tell from the pictures that she was not all that impressed!!!

5 Years Old...Where has the time gone?

On Sat. Nov. 28, we had Kory's birthday party! Now this was not my usual organized party-it was a little bit of chaos, as I did not have it all together this year! But,luckily the weather was AWESOME and everything turned out great! We had hotdogs and chili, cornbread and cake. The new bar in the kitchen added SO much space to put food on and with the wall out in the kitchen-made for much better conversation! We ate, sang happy birthday and then let Kory open presents. My kiddy trail mix was a BIG hit-there are pictures of that- and then had hot chocolate and roasted marshmellows, which was WAY fun! Thanks to all who came and made this day extra special.

Here are some pics. from my little monkey's very special day!!!

Thanksgiving FUN!!!

We spent Thanksgiving minus Keith this year. He was up north finishing up stripping, but Kory, Kenedee and I still had a great time. Since Anita's fam. and Neally boy were going to be out of town for Thanksgiving dinner-we had Thanksgiving supper! Here are some pics. of the LONG day!!!

Korys Birthday Party-THIS WEEKEND!

This year's birthday party is not going to be as organized as in the years past. With Keith being out of town, Kenedee teething and time just passing by sooo quickly, things just did not all work out! I actually only emailed invites, so if you did not get one and want to come...PLEASE DO!!! I think we are still going to have a great time and it will be very CASUAL!! Hope you all can come!

Tractor Fun!

Here are some pics. of the kiddos and Keith playing with Keith's new BIG toy!

Some Items for Sale!!!

Hi Everyone! I have some new stuff that I have been making. Let me know if you are interested in anything. So sorry about the bad pictures. For some reason when I uploaded them they turned out all messed up. I think these prices are pretty reasonable as I go to some places and pay 12.00 at least for a flower and headband and these will be 7.00. I am interested to hear what you think!

Here we go!

The sets of 2 snap/alligator clips are $4.00. The sets of 3 are $5.00.
The interchanable regular size flower clips are $5.00 seperate or when paired with a headband of your choice $7.00.

Choice of Headbands
(skinny nylon- light pink, hot pink, white, black)
(crochet-white, black, brown, hot pink, but can get any color).

The extra large flowers (not including headband) are $8.00.

The headbands with the flowers attached will be $6.00.

Puffs on clips-5.00. I have ALL colors-small and large puffs. Add 2.00 for headband.

Pick any regular size flower and pair with a kufi hat for $10.00
The extra large flower and kufi will be $12.00. This is one of the cutest combos!
Can add ribbon at no extra charge if you like.

Kufi Choices (can get any color but here is what I have, but expecting some more in the mail any day now)!
Infant-(very small babies-under 6 months or so
hot pink,black, white
Toddler- white, brown, black, periwinkle blue, bright purple

I also am making regular headbands lined with ribbon with a flower. These are super cute! I think they will be $6.00. I will post pictures when I have them done.

Also, since I have not perfected my bow making skills I purchased several different kinds and colors wholesale from some expert bow makers which I hope to be getting soon-most of them matching the pillowcase dresses. If interested in the pillowcase dresses email me- I have lots of sizes and styles. These will be $14.00 each. Oh-and tutus...they will also be $14.00 ish (depending on length and fluffiness)...with a flower and ribbon wraped so that the tulle is not scratchy. I also only use the softest tulle that I can find, so it is nice and soft for your baby girl!

Hair Bling!

Here are some pictures of my latest project. Our dining room has been transformed. I have lots of flowers and kufi/crochet hats of all colors and sizes. Oh...and headbands-all different kinds and colors! I am going to keep adding to this slideshow, but you can not believe how hard it is to get a 8-month old to sit still to take a picture!
