It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

365 days in a year....and I probably hear from my little man-at least once a week when can we put back up the village? Please...please...please lets get out the village! No Kory-only at Christmas time (I say)! Please please please (he goes on)! So you can only imagine his excitment when he sees me getting it out. If only to be little again and bottle up all that excitement! It makes all the work of Christmas worth it to see their little faces light up when you plug the Christmas tree in. So, here are some pictures from that fun day!

I also tried...unsuccessfully I might add...to get some pictures for Christmas Cards. ( I guess we will be sending out New Years cards)! Here are some that turned out decent. Kenedee was not really having much to do with these pictures...BTW! She is such a mess and with only my phone camera...yes you get the idea!! Ha ha! So here they are:

Superhero Birthday Party Pictures

YEAH! So excited about these pictures!!!

Why God Made Little Boys...To my little monkey on his 6th Birthday

This picture is of Kory and ALL his Robots! They are some of his favorite things!

This picture is Gary the snail when we first got him. That was several months ago and despite escaping and nearly drowning he is still going strong and now has a little snail buddie in the cage with him!

And another of Kory and his robots! This picture shows what a little show off he is!!

God made the world out of His dreams
Of magic mountains, oceans and streams,
Prairies and plans and wooded land,
Then paused and thought “I need someone to stand
On top of mountains, to conquer the seas,
Explore the plains and climb the trees.
Someone to start out small and to grow,
Sturdy, strong as a tree…” And so,
He created boys, full of spirit and fun,
To explore and conquer, to romp and run.
With dirty faces and banged up chins,
With courageous hearts and boyish grins.
When He had completed the task He’d begun

He surely said “A job well done”.

Kory's version on the Grand Ole Flag

Kory's class had a special program on Veteran's Day which included the signing of the Grand Ole Flag and the Psalm of David. I was not able to go because Kenedee was sick, but Keith and my parents went and watched him! This video is Kory's version of the Grand Ole Flag with little sister wanting us to march and clap and then when I do not, she proceeds to throw a little fit!! LOL... As you can tell that was how we had been practicing before I decided to video him!!!

So here he is! Again...be sure to put the music on pause so you can hear him!!

My BIG Little Boy

Psalm of David recitation! I had to cut the video a little short but you get the idea! I was SO proud of him!!!

Make sure and scroll to the bottom on the blog and turn off the music so you can really hear him!!! And...disregard little sister in the background!!!

November Already!!

Wow! Can you guys believe that it is already November!!! Where does the time go?? All of a sudden I am going to wake up and realize that all these years have just passed us by!! We have had such a busy busy fall season. With Keith being gone-most of September and into October and it just being the kids and I - it is all I have to just make it from one day to the next!! And...not to mention...not having a camera really puts a crimp in my picture taking skills!!! I have though managed to get some from my phone that are adequate...totally not great...but will work!!

So last weekend we went trick or treating. Kenedee was not feeling all that great and luckily my parents were with us, as they helped me get them all ready! Keith was stripping so he barely made it home in time to go up to the trunk or treat with us. Kory had such a good time, in fact he actually had more fun handing out the candy then I think he did getting the candy! People would be like...oh a King and Kory would say-no I am not a king- I am PRINCE CHARMING and this is my little sister Cinderella! I save ALL the princesses! I am there SUPER HERO! (can you tell that it took a little persuasion on my part to get him in this costume...LOL)

After the trunk or treat we went over and visited my Grandmama and Aunt Vickie. Kory loves her little doggie and they had so much candy just for him! Kenedee and Kory both went a little crazy over all that candy! On Halloween...we spent most of the day at the October Fiesta for ACS and then my mom took Kory and Kenedee to Miles to trick or treat with Grandpa on the golf-cart. By this time, Kenedee had had pretty much all the trick or treating that she could handle, so she stayed at the house with my mom. Keith and I were busy packing up from a show at the spur arena that Lacy had been working all day.

So here are some pics from the Trunk or Treat!

One day that Tiffany was sick, I ended up staying home with Kenedee and Kory. She was determined to go to school...even though she was not feeling awesome and I had to go pick her up! But I could not resist taking a quick picture of her. She is so different from her big brother. It is like she is just trying to get big SO quick. She wants to do everything that we do and acts like a mini-grown up! I am just blown away by her most days!! So here she is sporting her little backpack and lunch box!

And a few more quick pics of Kenedee!! She is just growing SO quickly.

First Day of School

Kory's first day of school (Kindergarten) was Wednesday Sept 1, 2010! He was so excited. Things have been going very well for him and he is enjoying every minute-SO FAR- of Kindergarten!

Here are some quick pics that I took of him!

Kenedee's fisrt day of school was the following Wednesday-after labor day. This was her first time ever to be at a little school. She did very well and played nicely with the other kiddos! Tiffany dropped her off-as I was sure-if I was there we would have more trouble. You can see from the pics. that she is not entirely sure about this school business and wondering what all the crying is about. Doesn't she look like a big girl? My baby is getting SO big!

Only Sea World Trip of the Summer

We decided that it was time to take the kiddos! Kenedee is a little more high maintenance than Kory is, so things were a little more complicated than expected...not to mention the 110 degree weather and record breaking crowds. The Sea World people were expecting 30000+ people the Sat. that we were there!! It was a crazy time...SO CROWDED!!! We hardly even got to see Shamu-luckily we went to the Friday evening show of Shamu Rocks which was awesome, because the Saturday show was SO full. There was not even any standing room and can you imagine-that stadium in 100+ degree weather. They ended up having to cancel the show, because the whales did not want to cooperate. Keith and I were thinking that it was because it was SO dang hot!! I was soaking wet-completely-just came from the Lost Lagoon and walking over to Shamu I was sweating! No kidding! But...needless to say...we still had a pretty good time!

Back Tracking!!

So...I finally got ahold of my mom's camera and downloaded some of the pictures off of it! I can not believe how fast time is going by!!! After reviewing some of these pictures, I am realizing that it is much harder to photograph 2 kiddos then just one. In fact there are not alot of great pictures and not really all that many pictures to choose from! I guess I was too busy chasing them around to get any good pictures! But...owell!! I will post these anyways! So first off are some pictures from the 4th of July. Boy was it muddy and clouds were threatning the pops the whole time we were there. My dad had the bright idea of bringing cheetoh puffs-hence the yucky orange mouths, teeth and hands!!

Then on the 4th we had a little last minute gathering at our house. It was a pretty fun time, except Kory has NO fear of the firecrackers and thinks that he is invincible! Kenedee was also like a little mud princess with dirt ALL over her!
