Kory a.k.a Princess
Kory is going through a little phase...a pink phase! For those of you who know anything about me, know that he is coming by it naturally! Here are some pictures of him in his new pink stylin glasses that my mom bought for him. Doesn't he look like a little mess? Last weekend Mom, Dad, Kory and I all went to San Antonio to go shopping and Kory picked out all kinds of dresses. Don't you know Keith is very excited about that. However, after thinking about it I kind-of think this may be my fault. Everyone knows that little girl clothes are MUCH cuter than little boys and I am just naturally drawn to look at them. When we walked into Babys R US, Kory picked up a little girl's easter dress off the rack and said, "Momma, Isn't this just adorable?' I wonder where he learned that????

Rodeo Fun
We had a fun-filled weekend of Rodeo! It all started on Sat. morning at the parade. Kory was dead set on riding with Keith, but he did not feel comfortable taking him along, so he had to watch it with me. I was sure that once it all started he would get into it and enjoy it, but NO he was dead set on going with Keith. We then all went to eat at Henrys and Susie took Kory home for a little nap. Keith and I went to the fairgrounds and enjoyed ourselves for a little while before Kory got there. Then we rode a few rides with Granny, ate some bar-b-que sandwiches and went to the rodeo. Kory really liked it more than I thought he was going to. When we were leaving he goes, Gosh I looovved it! I need another one tomorrow. So, on Sunday we decided to go up to the fairgrounds and let Kory ride some rides and things. Amy and Mike happened to call and so we met them up there shortly after lunch. Kory had so much fun riding with Abby...you can tell from his little smile that he was having a great time. Around 3:00 we had had all the fun we could handle and decided to call it an afternoon. That night as Kory was going to sleep, he said, "Mama....I sure did have a great day." What a sweethart! He is my little angel. Here are some pictures from the weekend. I am hoping to put them in a slideshow at some point!!!

Valentines Day
For Valentine's Day, I told Tiffany to bring Kory up to ASU because they were having a build-a bear. Kory was so excited! But, the build-a bear workshop was so popular that they ended up running out of suplies, 2 hours before they were scheduled to stop. Kory was very dissapointed, but I promised him a trip to the mall to make him a bear. On the Thursday of Valentine's Day, Tiffany took Kory to the mall to Snuggle Factory, however they searched and searched but it seems that Snuggle Factory has moved to an unknown location. But, Tiffany improvised and Kory ended up having a great time anyways. Here are some pictures that she took of my little Valentine on Valentines Day (2008).

Why Women Cry
I got this little poem in an email and just had to share it, especially with all those moms out there. I really think this is something special!
A little boy asked his mother, 'Why are you crying?' 'Because I'm a woman,' she told him. 'I don't understand,' he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, 'And you never will.' Later the little boy asked his father, 'Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?' 'All women cry for no reason,' was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, 'God, why do women cry so easily?' God said:
'When I made the woman she had to be special. I made her shoulde rs strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort. I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining. I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart. I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed.' 'You see my son,' said God, 'the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides.'

Weekend Excitement (Feb. 10)
Hi Everyone!
I know...I know it has been forever! We have been relatively boring people, due to the never ending sickness that we have endured. From a week long bought with the flu, to respiratory infections and having my wisdom teeth pulled it has been a LONG month! However, last weekend Kory and I went to Miles, since it was such a pretty day for a BIG surprise. Grandma finally got the trampoline that was for his birthday put together. David was there also and they just jumped and jumped! What little messes!!!

Christmas 2007
Sorry it has taken me so long to post this. I have tried uploading some videos several times, but it has just taken too long! With all the festivities and getting ready for school to start back up, there has been little time to blog! Hopefully, I will get back into the swing of things…Very Soon!!!
We had a very eventful Christmas! It all started on December 24 at my parent’s house. Santa came to visit and left all kinds of presents. Kory is just now understanding all this Christmas business and thought it was very cool that Santa left him all these presents. He had an easel with paints, paper and even a little smock. He got a John Deere bike and lots of play dough stuff. Also, box after box of little cars. He really thought he was in hog heaven!
After that we went to spend the evening at Grandma & Grandpa Gully’s house. We had a no-nap Kory on our hands and we knew that this did not make for a good situation. We ended up having to leave there early, after we opened up presents, but before supper.
As we were going home, Kory threw a big fit to stop back at my parents, so we ended up stopping back there on our way home! It was much calmer with just us there than it had been earlier in the morning with everyone and 3 little boys!!
That night Santa came to visit us at the house and Kory opened up his presents Christmas Morning…of course we had to sing Baby Jesus Happy Birthday, because that is why Santa came for Baby Jesus’ birthday. Santa brought Kory some art and craft supplies, wipe-on boards, several little car houses…a police station, amusement park, car wash, etc.
We left soon after to head for St. Lawrence, thinking that if we got there early maybe Kory would take a nap…not quite the case unfortunately! Since he turned 3 naps are becoming things of the past. He still needs them, usually the fit he throws not to take them is evidence of his needing one, but it is getting harder and harder! Anyways, Santa was also very good to him at Granny’s and Popos. He got some John Deere walkie-talkies, a cute playhouse, teeter toter, k’nex blocks, race car game for the tv, wiggles cd’s and radio and lots of other toys! He must have been very good this year!!!
It took me a full day to get all the toys put away!!!
