This year's festival was so much fun! I am so glad that Kory is finally big enough to enjoy some of these fun activities! I had to work my shift on Friday evening, but other than that I was pretty free. Tiffany brought Kory up there Friday night to play some games and watch the Friday night concert. On Sat. Kory and I and Mas and Popos all got up and went to watch the balloons take off. They all got up in the air...it was really pretty neat watching them! Kory's favorite part was the BIG fans that they used to circulate the heat (from the fire) to the tip of the balloon. (I know...not a very good description). Then we went to eat at IHOP...Kory's favorite place! That evening we ended up going back up to the festival, eating some supper and then watching the concert. Kory is so lucky! Towards the end of the show, Kory got to go on stage and got to sign! He thought he was extra special!
Here is some video of him on stage! I know the quality is not all that great, but you get the picture! Be sure to turn off the playlist function so you can hear the words when you are watching the video.
Ok...well I can not get the video to upload so we will just go on to pictures! Here are some pics. of Kory shaking his booty!
Here are some of the balloons!

Summer Time is Quickly Approaching
I just can not beleive how fast time is going by! I looked at when the last blog was posted and there is so much stuff that has happened between now and then, I do not know where to start. First, I would like to say that Kory is getting to be such a little person. He is playing so much nicer lately and is listening, most of the time. Now, he totally still has his 3 year old moments, but things really seem to be getting better! I am so relieved-let me tell you! For a while there I did not know what we were going to do with him! I also wanted to mention an awesome websight that my sister sent me. It is called Mamasource and you fill out a short form and get 1 email every day...and this is moms in our area asking questions, voicing concerns, just really being there for each other. I really enjoy reading the post because it gives me a since of support and encouragement.
So, Yeah!!...My Brother finally graduated from college! We had a big party at the house that I think turned out really good! Kory had such a great time. We made BBQ and beans, put up the bouncy house, rented several magarita machines...it was a great night. We even had a DJ, which was my favorite part of all. He really went all out and brought his lights and all kinds of equipment. If anyone ever needs a DJ, I would highly recommend him. He was great with the kiddos too! I will post some pictures, but I think I left my camera at home...So pictures to follow!!
The next weekend we left for our Family Vacation in Port Aransas. We had planned to be there from Friday May 16-Friday May 23, however we all know "Gota Go Keith" right...His theme song is " Gotta Go Gotta Go Get that Crop out. Gotta Go Gotta Go get that Crop out." Ha Ha Ha (That was for all of you who remember those great farm safety videos we had to watch in ag class). Ok...Anyways, we ended up coming home on Thursday-which still leaves us there for 5 whole days. You would think in 5 days we could of done everything that we wanted to, but somehow just did not manage to do it! Kory had a great time though. I am really glad he likes the water. Although that brings with it some challanges, I think it would be much harder to have a child that was scarred of the water. But...Kory is a little fish! He will even tell me, "Mama I sure wish I could be a fish". Now that proves his love of the water. With 3 children 3 and under and 8 adults all staying in one house, you can imagine the chaos! Yes...Chaos and loud and my great baby brother who is pretty much set in his college schedule...wake up at 10:00 (if we are lucky) eat, hang out, eat again, nap all afternoon...Do you guys see a pattern-kind of like the 3 children right, nope just kidding....anyways...the house did seem pretty small sometimes!
Here are all the activities that we did and then I will post some pictures!
Friday May 16-Arrive and go to eat
Saturday May 17-Hang out, swimm, go into town to eat lunch, Parents and Neal Arrive, fix supper and swim some more
Sunday May 18-Went to the Beach, Ate at the Wharf restaurant, Swam
Monday May 19- Boys went fishing and Girls and kiddos went into town, shopped a little and then went swimming, made supper
Tuesday May 20-Went to the Aquarium in Corpus. I did not think that Kory got much out of this, but he is still talking about it. The little monkey picks up the funniest things..like his favorite part was the jelly fish. I have NO idea why. We had to visit the jelly fish like 4 times while we were there. We saw the dolphin show, which to me was sort-of a waste of time and I was thinking that it was just hot and a little boring. But, there was a dolphin named Pai that Kory fell in love with. We had to go see Pai and tell Pai bye. Sometimes, you just never know what your kiddos are learning! That evening we grilled the fish that they caught on the trip!
Wednesday May 21-Neal, Danielle, and Dad all went Parasailing. Kory got to ride in the boat and boy did he like that. Grabed a bite to eat and then went on a Dolphin watching tour. I really enjoyed that- I think the Dolphin tour was my favorite. That night we went into Corpus and ate at Joe's Crab Shack and Kory fell in love with the place. They had these huge silvered mirror hanging balls (like the one in our living room becuase Kory will not let us take it down-from his wiggles party) and he loved them! They also had some disco balls that when the waitstaff did the little dance they would turn on- O my gosh I thought Kory was going to explode with happiness!
Thursday May 22-packed up and headed home. We ended up going into corpus on our way home, as I was pouting because I was not happy to be leaving...this was my "beach" day as we really did not spend all that much time there. Anyways, somehow we ended up there and it happended to be right around lunch time, so we let Kory pick where he wanted to go. I bet you can't guess what he said....Yep....Joe's Joe's Joe's!!! And this time we sat downstairs, next to a stage and a silver ball. Keith let Kory dance on the stage and even turned the lights on for him...He thought he was in high cotton! Such a little show off! When we were leaving, we made Kory tell one of the bartenders thanks for letting him play on the stage and he did it so politely that the bartender gave him this little shark. Guess what the shark's name is...That's right, Pai!
Ok...I will post more about the trip, some pictures and upcoming events in a little while!

Cousin Love...My Two Big Boys
Kory and David playing at the mall. Don't they look all grown up? Anita, Mom and I took all three boys to the mall for pictures with the Easter bunny and I voluntered, yes I have no idea what I was thinking, but I offered to take Kory and Tooter to the mall and just have Anita and Mom meet me over there with Dylan...We actually had a great time and the boys all behaved really good. Here are some pictures of us playing waiting for the others to get there!

Easter Fun
It has taken me a little while to get this updated, but we have had so many things going on! It seems like the Spring is just flying by and I know that the summer is going to go by just a quickly! Everyday Kory seems to get bigger and bigger! I so just want him to stay this size forever! Here are some pictures from Easter!
These were all taken by Tiffany before Kory's Easter party at school! I really do not know what Keith and I would do without her! Thanks Tiffany for these pictures!
These pictures are from my house. We had a little gathering on the Saturday before Easter, when the weather was still nice! As you can see, Kory really got into the Easter egg hunting this year! He thought that was really cool.
These pictures are from what the Easter bunny brought! Not only did he come to the house, twice...once for a hunt in the yard and then left all kinds of things in his nest for Kory to find, he also visited Great-Grandma Gully's and left us all kinds of goodies to find! So, with a total of 3 full Easter baskets, One from Granny & Popos and the other from Mas and Popos, and the one that the Easter bunny left, 2 Easter egg hunts and one at Sierra Vista, we had a very full Easter!!! Is Kory spoiled rotten or what!
