Kory's Valentine Box
Kory is just getting sooo big and is starting to have real school projects. This is one of the first "family-at home" projects that he has had through his school! For Valentine's Day he was supposed to make a Valentine Mailbox! Well, I had all kinds of good ideas, but no Kory, of course...had his own ideas as well and NONE of my ideas were very good ones according to him. So..his idea...a Transformer Box! No matter how much I tell him that I do not know anything about Transformers and have absolutely NO idea how to make a Transformer box he insisted! So, between he, Grandma and I here is what we came up with...
Needless to say he was very excited and very proud of his box. The next morning the first thing he says when he wakes up is, Can I go see how pretty my box looks...isn't that the cutest thing!

Kenedee's Baby Room
Yeah! We are only a few weeks out from meeting our little girl! I am very ready for everything to be over with and her to just be here! I took some pics of her room...it is still a work in progress! Keith has been out of town so the curtains are "makeshift" hung and still quite a bit of little stuff that needs to be taken care of, but you will get the general idea! On an up note...all her clothes and bedding have been washed and are ready to go, so at least she will have things to wear and a place to sleep-really that is all the need at first anyways!

Winter News
Like always...we have been VERY busy! Poor little Kory had the flu ALL week. I knew when he came into our room Sunday night that he was not feeling good, but I never expected the flu! YUCK! And boy was he sick...sick like I have not seen him in several years, probably since the first time he had Croup when he was 9 months old. I think pretty much everyone was praying that we all did not get sick-as we had been at Grandma's on Sunday night. Luckily no one has come down with the flu-yet! David and Dylan were both sick though-with different things. David has a stomach bug and Dylan has croup. We will be staying away from them for atleast a couple more days!!!
On Monday, Keith and I had our very first parent-teacher conference with Kory's teacher, Mrs. Barry. I personally think Mrs. Barry is wonderful and was soo excited to go, although we all know that Kory is totally NOT a model student by any means. But, with Kory being sick-Keith had to go by himself and talk with her. She of course, had mostly good things to say except that Kory needs to work on following directions! I could of told you that! Also...All of you guys know that I talk of Kory being strong willed and stubborn, as do ALOT of parents with children 3-4 years old...however Mrs. Barry did write on his card that if he gets it in his head NOT to do something...there is NO convincing him otherwise. As a side note she mentioned to Keith that in ALL her years of teaching (which is quite a few) she has never had a child as strong willed as he is. So, although that is not neccessarily a good things- at least we have some sort of validation of why we are having such a hard time with him!
Anyways...now I can just laugh when people tell me there child is SOOO strong willed because I am pretty sure that they come no where close to Kory's stong willed-ness!!!
A couple of weeks ago, we went to Grandma's to make cookies! This is one of Kory's favorite things to do! Here are some pics of the kiddos!!!

Holiday Madness
Christmas this year was actually pretty calm-as Kory is getting so big and the weather was actually really nice, so the kiddos were able to play outside some! Kory is finally really beginning to understand what Christmas is all about! He was totally into Santa this year and having baby Jesus a birthday party because he was being "boring"...that is what he calls being born.
Our Christmas celebrations started the week before at the "Book Christmas". Kory was so well-behaved- I actually wondered whose child he was. HA HA HA! Santa came to visit and Kory thought he was VERY special as Santa made sure to tell him that it was his special job to feed his reindeer. Kory took him sooo seriously that he followed him outside to go and help him feed his reindeer. Santa barely escaped! Here are some pictures...Doesn't he look sooo cute in his little tie!
On Christmas Eve we went to Keith's Grandma's house...as Kory calls her Great Great Grandma. Rankin, Beverly's little boy got some really cool nerf guns and the kiddos had lots of fun playing with them. I am sooo thankful that Rankin decided to share and let Kory play with them.
Next Christmas Day we had a full day of fun. First, Santa visited our house and left lots of goodies! Next we went to my mom and dad's and Kory received his beloved R2D2. Kory and David also had lots of fun dressing up as Storm Troopers! Can you guys tell that he is totally into Star Wars and Robots...in particular R2D2 and Walle! Next we went to St. Lawrence and Kory got to open presents AGAIN! He was pretty excited about all the presents. Keith and I really tried to explain that although all the presents are really fun-as we all like to get presents that the true meaning of Christmas is Jesus and that is the reason why we are celebrating. He seemed to really get that...I think Easter is going to be harder to explain! Here are some pics...

Baby Kenedee
Introducing our first real look at Baby Kenedee! I went in for my 28 week sono this morning and they said she was looking great- almost 3 pounds! If you are having a hard time viewing the pictures...that is her arm in front of her face and her little hand! Keith and I both started getting a little nervous when the Doc. said we were going to have to start coming in every 2 weeks....that means not much longer!!!
So, here you go! We are excitedly awaiting her arrival in early March!
