We all decided that it was time for a family vacation. Although the weather did not cooperate all that great we still had an awesome time!!! On Saturday (May 8) after t-ball Keith, me and the kiddos headed south to San Antonio. Kenedee is not really much of a trooper, so I was VERY thankful to only have to travel 3 hours with her. Kory was SO looking forward to spending the night at his hotel. Again...the weather was not perfect, as it was actually a little chilly so we did not get to swim, but we did roast LOTS marshmallows and watch the big movie outside!
Kory enjoying his smores!!
On Sunday...off to Port A and Happy Mother's Day to me!
We arrive a little after lunch and OMG-Kenedee had had it with her car seat!!! My parents were at the golf cart place and we hopped on the golf cart with them and left Keith to find our real estate man and get our keys to the house! It just so worked out that my parents and Anita's family were staying next door to our little house! I LOVED being next door...that worked out great! So...we were off to the beach! I have NEVER seen a little boy so excited to be at the beach-Kenedee not so much!! Here are some pictures from our many trips to the beach. Not sure if you can tell it, but the wind is blowing-BLOWING like you have NEVER seen!!! Holy Moly the wind was blowing SO hard that it was kind-of hard to enjoy being at the beach.
And the wind blown pictures:
Pictures from in and around town!
One afternoon we headed into Corpus to take Kory to the Lexington and the aquarium. He had such a fun time. He is just getting to the age where he thinks all these things are cool and everything is fun!! Mom, Dad, Neal and Danielle met us at the aquarium and then off to Joes Crab Shack-where we met up with Anita, Shawn and the kiddos!! o here are some pictures from that fun afternoon/evening!!!
All in all it was a pretty fun trip!!! The next day...Thursday...we headed home. I needed all that R&R to deal with Kenedee on the way home! Ha Ha!!!
